Oblivion comes at a price I will not pay
I look to you every time as I begin words I pray
Rest my weary soul upon this red I lay
As this body of mine grows fatigued by words I tire
Lift me up to your heavens taking me higher
As I begin this tightrope walk upon your wire
Transmit my thought from deep within my desire
I fall and hurt from not seeing my own home
For where does my soul linger where must I roam
Running out of time I slowly close my mind
Trick or treat just to see what I could find
Staring at the sun to see if I’d go blind
Now I give a lot of love to see what I can find.
