I have been incarcerated for 22 months of a four-year sentence in Queensland jails. The poem above is about my own situation.

Homelessness, addiction, no family, turned right back to what got us here in the first place. I think this is a huge problem for especially young vulnerable women to have more support on release!
Over the past 5 years I have completed numerous courses and obtained tickets for forklift – working at heights, confined space, first aid, and test and tag.
